Hay wood - Wroxall Abbey 4.6 miles - Wed 28th December

Please meet at my house at 9.30 a.m. if you wish to share transport. Walk starts at 10 a.m.

Parking  CV35 7DD Explorer  221 GR205707 Take B4439 from Hatton towards Rowington. At the crossroads, about ½ mile after passing the church in Rowington, turn right into Rowington Green. Turn left at the T-junction and park in the lay-by on the right. Parking is limited, so please share cars.

Edgecote - Trafford bridge 4.7 miles - Wed 29 Sept

We had a very good undulating walk by Edgecote Manor, Mill, River Cherwell. Very few stiles. One or two steep climbs. The sandwiches at the Hare and Hounds, nearby at  Wardington, on the A361,  were very good value.

Sibfords - Burdrop 5.2 miles Wed 24th August

Meet at 9.15 a.m. at my house to share cars. Please let me know if you are coming. Peter and I did this a few months ago. Brian and I will be leading this walk in September for Ramblers Too.

If you search for Sibford in the search box on this blog you will find some photos and information. It was an interesting excellent walk. The undulating countryside is beautiful as are the villages. We had very good sandwiches at the Wykham Arms in Sibford Gower and will have lunch there.

Hornton - Horley - Shotteswell 5.6 miles - Changed to Thursday 28 July

Sorry about the late notice. I have changed this walk to a Thursday. Please let me know if you are coming to the ramble.  Meet at 9.30 a.m. at my house to share cars.

This is a beautiful walk in the North Oxfordshire Cotswolds. It is about 30 mins drive from Warwick. We will have lunch afterwards probably at the Dun Cow in Horton.

Wed 30th March - Bidford upon Avon - Cleeve Prior 5.3 miles

Meet at Derek's house at 9.15 a.m.  to share cars. The walk is a figure 8 with good views of the Avon. I shall be leading this walk with the Ramblers group later in the year. Pub lunch afterwards.

Parking Turn left at the roundabout into Bidford from B439 and turn immediately left. This car park is free unlike the one further over the bridge.

Shenington - Epwell 4.5/5.5 miles Tuesday Jan 26th

This ramble was cancelled a few weeks ago. So try again!

Meet at my house at 9.15 a.m. to share cars  It will take 35/40 mins to get there. It is a new walk so we will need to find parking. So it will be a proper test of navigational skills. Hope to see you then.
