Edgcote - Culworth 6.35 miles - Wed 26th June - Revised times.

We had an excellent walk is in a beautiful part of Northamptonshire close to the Oxfordshire border. It passes near to the site of the Battle of Edgcote 1469 which took place during the Wars of the Roses.  The White Queen TV series currently on ITV on sunday evening mentions the battle and takes place during this period. Warwick the Kingmaker plays a prominent part.

We had a very tasty light lunch at the the Red Lion pub in Culworth after about 4 miles walking. I have modified the walk slightly since completion.

Directions
